In the course of the insolvency proceedings of Fima Maschinenbau GmbH and the associated spin off of Serafima GmbH & Co KG, we felt the need to expand our partner network, which will enable us to render improved and even more flexible services to our customers.

We are pleased to announce that with effect of April 1st 2020, we signed a cooperation agreement with our new strategic business partner FIMA AIRTECHNIC NV, which is headquartered in Belgium.

FIMA AIRTECHNIC NV was founded in 1983 and has gained experience for more than 20 years in developing and manufacturing fans within the former FIMA Group. In 2002 FIMA AIRTECHNIC separated from the FIMA Group to pursue its own independent and successful business development.
Due to sustainable investments into machines and infrastructure, the vertical range of manufacture was gradually expanded. The broad manufacturing competencies include a wide variety of material processing, such as black steel, stainless steel, titan and Hastelloy. These broad and flexible manufacturing capabilities combined with dynamic availabilities of raw materials enable us to deliver in short term – which will be appreciated especially in case of emergency, such as unplanned machine stillstand.

The main target of our cooperation is to bundle our complementary competences, in order to offer an even wider and more flexible support around all fluidic systems. Our latest additions include fan solutions for industrial and process applications.

In the future Serafima will concentrate on sales and distribution as well as on the service and aftersales business. On the other hand FIMA AIRTECHNIC NV, will focus on the production and delivery of high-quality fans, manufacturer-independent replacement fans and original spare parts.
